The Kremlin said in a statement that two drones were intercepted and shot down by Russian security forces and that the impacts didn't hurt any people or property. Putin was apparently away from the Kremlin at the time. A spokesman for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denied Russia's allegations. However, right after news of the drone attack broke, Zelensky's chief of staff posted to his Telegram channel a string of fire emojis. He deleted the post shortly after. The attack, if it was Ukraine, would be a significant escalation in Ukraine's attacks on Russian territory.

--:-- John Bickley: Meanwhile, Republican State Senator Thomas O'Mara criticized the move, saying the electrical grid isn't equipped for the transition. New York State says that we're going to need to triple renewable energy in 17 years, adding 83 gigawatts of renewable. Just to give that some perspective, we've only produced 13 new gigawatt hours in the past 23 years in this state.
