--:-- [Upbeat music fades out, and the host, John Bickley, speaks]
--:-- John Bickley: This is Daily Wire, I'm Editor-in-Chief John Bickley with Georgia Howe. It's Tuesday, June 13th, and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update.
--:-- Georgia Howe: Welcome back to the show, everyone.
--:-- John Bickley: Former President Donald Trump was arraigned in a Miami federal courtroom earlier this afternoon on 37 felony counts relating to his alleged mishandling of classified documents. The former president has pleaded not guilty.
--:-- John Bickley: Per standard federal court procedure, recording devices were not allowed inside the courthouse. We'll have more on his court appearance in tomorrow morning's episode of Morning Wire.
--:-- Georgia Howe: The autopsy of the Nashville school shooter who killed three children and three adults in March has been released.
--:-- Georgia Howe: Here with more is Daily Wire investigative reporter Mairead Elordi.
--:-- Mairead Elordi: Thank you, Georgia.
--:-- Georgia Howe: The autopsy report details the results of substance tests as well as the mass shooter's injuries before she was fatally shot by responding police officers.
--:-- Mairead Elordi: Blood, urine, and vitreous humor tests performed on the shooter did not detect substance or alcohol abuse.
--:-- Mairead Elordi: The case summary called the shooter a transgender person who was assigned female at birth. The shooter who identified as male had previously attended the Covenant School.
--:-- Georgia Howe: President Biden banned a transgender activist from future White House events after a video from the White House Pride Month celebration on Saturday went viral for all the wrong reasons.
--:-- Georgia Howe: The video showed three trans-identifying people going topless during the event. Are we topless at the White House?
--:-- Mairead Elordi: One of the individuals who's now banned, Rose Montoya, a biological male who identifies as a woman, met with President Biden and the First Lady at the White House for the event.
--:-- Georgia Howe: The White House issued a statement Tuesday afternoon calling Montoya's behavior inappropriate and disrespectful.
--:-- Georgia Howe: With the help of artificial intelligence, the world-famous band The Beatles will release a new record more than 50 years after the band broke up.
--:-- Trevor Mock: Hi, I'm Daily Wire researcher Trevor Mock.
--:-- Georgia Howe: Trevor, can you tell us more about this?
--:-- Trevor Mock: The last Beatles song they recorded collectively was The End from the album Abbey Road in 1969. That was the final song of the medley on side two of the album.
--:-- Trevor Mock: Bandmate John Lennon was murdered at the age of 40 in December 1980, and George Harrison died of cancer at the age of 58 in 2001.
--:-- Georgia Howe: But surviving member Paul McCartney revealed during a radio interview he will extract Lennon's voice from an old demo to create the group's final song believed to be titled Now and Then.
--:-- Trevor Mock: People will say to me, "Oh yeah, there's a track where John's singing one of my songs." And it isn't. It's just AI, you know. So when we came to make what will be the last Beatles record, it was a demo that John had that we worked on.
--:-- Trevor Mock: And we just finished it up and will be released this year. We were able to take John's voice and get it pure through this AI so that then we could mix the record as you would normally do.
--:-- Georgia Howe: A body has been recovered amongst the rubble and debris following the tragic accident that caused the Interstate 95 collapse in Philadelphia.
--:-- Georgia Howe: Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro issued a disaster declaration Monday in wake of that accident, which was caused after a truck carrying 8,500 gallons of gasoline crashed and ignited a fire.
--:-- Pete Buttigieg: Hi, I'm Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.
--:-- Georgia Howe: Secretary Buttigieg, can you give us an update on the situation?
--:-- Pete Buttigieg: I can say enough good things about the coordination that I am seeing here on the ground between first responders, state officials, and our own federal personnel to make sure that everything happens as it should.
--:-- Pete Buttigieg: I spoke with the governor just as I was arriving here. He indicated the coordination that has been key to making sure that funds are moving and that all the support that PennDOT needs to get this critical section of I-95 back up and running is in place.
--:-- Georgia Howe: According to the Starbucks Worker Union, the coffee giant has reportedly banned all pride decorations from its stores and has removed existing LGBTQ flags and related items.
--:-- Georgia Howe: The claim comes after companies such as Target and Bud Light have lost tremendous stock value and profits after embracing LGBTQ merchandise.
--:-- Starbucks Union Spokesperson: If Starbucks was a true ally, they would stand up for us, especially during a time when LGBTQ+ people are under attack.
--:-- Georgia Howe: All right, those are your drive home updates this afternoon. To learn more about these stories, go to dailywire.com. And for more in-depth discussion of the biggest stories of the day, listen to our latest full episode of Morning Wire every morning.
