--:-- Cabot Phillips: President Biden specifically addressed rising wages and inflation, as well as the Federal Reserve's recent rate cut, while emphasizing the need to tackle affordability issues like housing and child care.
--:-- Cabot Phillips: Invest in all of America and in all Americans. When we do things for the poor and have them able ladder up, the middle class does very well and the wealthy continue to do very well. We all do well. And we are doing well.
--:-- Cabot Phillips: Biden later falsely claimed that he had, quote, never once spoken to Fed Chair Jerome Powell since becoming president. But the two have met numerous times.
--:-- Cabot Phillips: Reactions to yesterday's cut have been mixed, with some economists saying it was the right move, while others disagreed. CNBC's Brian Sullivan, for example, called the cut bizarre, noting that while Powell said the quote economy is strong overall they still decided to cut rates a move usually reserved for weakening economies

--:-- Amanda Prestigiacomo: Here's Johnson recently on Jesse Waters' primetime.
--:-- Ron Johnson: We have now interviewed 12 people, 12. The FBI has interviewed over a thousand. Over a month ago, I asked Deputy Director at Bay to provide us the transcripts of those interviews, the 302s. He said, OK, we'll get those to you as soon as possible. We haven't gotten one.
--:-- Ron Johnson: We'll get documents a day, sometimes minutes before we actually interview somebody, which makes it very difficult for us to interview us.
