--:-- Georgia Howe: Tennessee has now joined Florida in investigating FEMA. The move comes after whistleblowers told the Daily Wire that an agency official directed aid workers to skip Trump-supporting homes hit by Hurricane Milton. Daily Wire reporter Amanda Prestigiacomo has the latest.
--:-- Amanda Prestigiacomo: Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is working with Tennessee's Attorney General Jonathan Scrametti to determine if residents were similarly discriminated against during FEMA's response to Hurricane Helene. The investigation in the volunteer state comes after FEMA fired the supervisor who gave the directive to workers who were going door-to-door in Florida. Lee called those actions reprehensible saying the government should never be weaponized against Americans. There are now numerous investigations into FEMA actions including one by Florida Division of Emergency Management.
--:-- Georgia Howe: President Trump has tapped former acting ICE director Tom Homan as the border czar something Homan says he's honored and ready to do.
--:-- Tom Homan: I gotta go back and hope because every morning I get up. Every morning I'm pissed off about what this administration did to the most secure border in my lifetime. So I'm gonna go back and do what I can to fix it.

Stefanik, who's the chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, says she's honored by the nomination and looks forward to working with the Senate to secure confirmation. In her statement, she emphasized the importance of restoring America's leadership on the global stage, citing concerns over rising anti-Semitism and the Biden administration's foreign policy.
--:-- Georgia Howe: Iran has denied claims from the Justice Department that the agency thwarted an Iranian plot to assassinate Trump. The DOJ filed a criminal complaint in New York, revealing that an official from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps allegedly sponsored an Afghan national with plotting to kill Trump. An Iranian spokesperson called the allegations completely baseless and part of a malicious conspiracy.
--:-- Aaron Cohen: You're starting to see the reverberations of what that's going to mean for Iran because Iran knows that the moment he gets sworn in maximum pressure is coming. So he can make all the threats that they want, but really this is about containing individual assassins. I mean, DOG just released that report about that individual who was planning to kill Trump. But I really think that Iran at this point is posturing and that's rule 101 in intelligence. They're talking because they're intimidated.

Allen, a former CVS employee, was arrested in 2022 after ballistic evidence linked him to the crime scene. He has made multiple jailhouse confessions though his defense argues his mental state may have led to false statements.
