--:-- Ari Kagan: I'm a journalist by trade. I'm a first-generation immigrant, very proud American. Always loved and admired this country. I always say, I came with no English, no money, and now I'm living my American dream. I'm New York City Councilman. I was Democrat for more than 20 years, but in the last several years, especially in the last few months, I would say, like more and more, I've seen policies that were detrimental to public safety in New York City, especially in Southern Brooklyn, but citywide as well.
